HDMI cable used for transmission of digital data
HDMI is also known as High-Definition Multimedia Interface, and HDMI cable is used for transmission of digital data in uncompressed manner. HDMI cable acts as the digital alternative to consumer analog standards. Some of the consumer analog standards are Radio Frequency (RF) co axial cable, composite video, SCART, s video and VGA. Due to signal attenuation, there are chances of making an upper limit about the length of HDMI cable. The length of a HDMI cable is primarily depends on the construction quality and the materials used.
