i think it is ludicrous that a parent has to go through a custody evaluation. first off ,you are wanting custody and feel you are a fit parent. why should you prove yourself as a fit parent to the court when you are willing and able to provide for the kid? why is it that the mother "automatically" gets to be the custodial parent. it is evident that her intentions are to destroy you financially and not focused on what is best for the child. unfortunately, our laws do not protect the father very well and we are left financially beaten with court proceedings and evaluations leading to feelings of inferiority.
